"I decided to spend the extra money to get this flange that matches the sink I got...I'm glad I did. One comment, though, If you are not installing a new garbage disposal remember to keep the connector pieces attached to your old sink drain, AND if I were starting over I would get a new piece that has the rubber guard that goes across the drain."

"I purchased the 'french gold' flange to replace an Insinkerator flange and it fit perfectly. The quality of the Kohler flange met my expectations--quality workmanship; nice heavy weight; beautiful, durable finish--no scratches or marring in the 6 weeks I've had it installed. I put it in a brown sink basin and the french gold looks beautiful with it! It also came well-packaged and I had an excellent customer service experience! I highly recommend it! I also bought the Kohler K-8801 brass stainer/flange in french gold--also a great product and matched the flange perfectly. Good prices too--I checked around on the internet and locally."
