Is this a restricted flow faucet? Does one handle control cold and the other contro hot water?

A. Yes, it is a restricted flow at 2.0 GPM. And, Yes, one handle is designated for hot, the other cold. This is an 'older' style, designed for use in pre-existing two hole designs where one is not re-surfacing the walls

What finish is closest to brushed nickel plate? The satin or the satin chrome?

A. The Satin is more "matte" in color and is closer to the brushed nickel, but still is on the "chrome"/silver side as opposed to the more "yellowish" finish of the brushed nickel.

Does this product come with a shut off valve?

A. This model does include the rough-in valve, but it does not have the shut off option.

Is the shower head multi function? Does this mean that the shower head has more than one option for water flow?

A. The American Standard 7220.732 is a single function showerhead. If the description had said that the showerhead was multifunction, then yes it would mean that there are different water pressures that you can set the showerhead to.
